Algoron was the son of Algamet (5e Deity), and the last known bearer of the Hands of Time. As the legend goes, Algamet and her lover were trying to escape the wrath of Pollux (5e Deity), for she had removed her lover from the flow of time, freeing him from deaths clutches. They stopped deep in a ravine, for Algamet could not go on. Her lover stayed with her as she birthed their son, Algoron. With them was a small band of Algamet's most devout followers, trying to protect them the best they could. Algoron was born just before Pollux entered the ravine they were in, and in order to save her son, she gave him to her followers, as well as a pair of copper gauntlets, instructing them to hide him as quickly as possible. Luckily for her followers Pollux had no interest in Algoron, and instead went straight after Algamet's lover. Pollux then banished Algamet's lover to the darkest corner of Otherworld, to be tormented eternally with no way to escape. Algamet pleaded with Pollux but no matter what she tried there was no way to convince Pollux to let him go. Algoron was raised in one of Algamet's temples, but he never met his mother. She was too ashamed to let her son ever see her. As Algoron grew up he learned all he could about Algamet's teachings, until one day he set off to adventure. It was then that he was given the Hands of Time by the followers who raised him. It wasn't until years later that he learned what they did, and from then on out he used these abilities to better help the people he encountered. Tales range from him stopping the flow of time to build a dam in order to protect a city about to be flooded, evacuating a village that was being raided by a neighboring tribe, to even traveling throughout time unhindered in order to obtain what he needed to help. He did all these things until one day he simply vanished. Nobody knows where he went, but Algamet knew that wherever he was, the Hands of Time had been left behind. Algoron vanished into myth.
