[edit] Ablative Armor [Warforged]

Your armor plating is layered to push back explosively, reducing damage... at least for a little while.

[edit] Prerequisite

Warforged, 2nd level.

[edit] Benefit

You gain an amount of damage reduction that activates only when you take enough physical damage from a single blow.

  • Normal Composite Body: You gain DR 2/adamantine, up to 20 points of damage an encounter (or a minute when out of battle).
  • Mithril Body: You gain DR 3/adamantine, up to 30 points of damage an encounter (or a minute when out of battle).
  • Darkwood Body: You gain DR 3/adamantine, up to 30 points of damage an encounter (or a minute when out of battle).
  • Adamantine Body: You gain DR 5/adamantine, up to 50 points of damage an encounter (or a minute when out of battle).

Whenever 1 minute of unstressful activity passes, you regain the reserve of damage you can absorb before your damage reduction fades. The DR bonus granted by this feat overlaps, and does stack with, the DR of the Adamantine Body feat.
