3.5 Dragonborn (Herregor Supplement)

Refugees from their home world. A single warrior company of this draconic race was making an assault upon the much weakened Bael Turath when the shattering of the barrier drew a portion of the Tiefling city through along with some of the surrounding lands. They are rare. Most serve as mercenaries to various human and dwarves races. Recently some have begun to flock to the “Dragon’s Lands” to serve the ancient beast that dwells there and forge a land for themselves.

[edit] Dragonborn Racial Traits

+2 to Strength, +2 to Charisma, -2 to Dexterity: Dragonborn are strong and compelling but not as agile as some of the races.

Medium: Dragonborn are Medium creatures, and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.

Normal Speed: Dragonborn have a base speed of 30 feet.

Scaled Flesh: Dragonborn scales are hard, granting them a +2 bonus to natural armor.

Low-Light Vision: Dragonborn can see twice as far as humans in conditions of poor illumination.

Claw & Fang: Dragonborn have hard, sharp claws and a maw filled with wicked teeth. They deal 1d4 points of damage with their claws, and 1d6 with the bite.

Keen Senses: Dragonborn receive a +2 bonus to perception checks involving scent and sight.

Arid Adaptability: Native to arid lands, Dragonborn require 1/2 the water of a man, and may go twice as long between fortitude saves due to heat. In addition they do not take penalties for wearing armor.

Born of Dragons: Dragonborn receive +2 to saves versus fire, acid, lightning, and cold based attacks.

Languages: Dragonborn begin play speaking Draconian. Dragonborn with high Intelligence scores can choose any of the following: Aradian, Sardonian, River Trade, Auld Doorish, Goblin, and Durven.

Favored Class: The favored class of dragonborn is paladin or sorcerer.
